I'm on adult probation, I have never met my P.O. because her office is far from me, but I have to check in at a kiosk near me every month. It was my first offense and I know my P.O. is in charge of low risk offenders because her office answering machine says so. But I got accepted into a university in another county and I will be staying at the dorms. I briefly mentioned it to her before but she basically said we'll talk about it closer to the date when you have to go. My issue is, I know if I were moving to another county, my case would have to move to the other county too, but in my case, the address that the school, loan institutions and federal aid will have on file for me will be my Los Angeles address. So what do you think would happen? I know it is a very specific circumstance but any information you might have would help me. Thanks. I probably should have said this before but of course I'm going to talk to her first before I do anything.
